General Application / Compatibility

• This would have been found on all "baby king" (standard) OMC 4-CYLINDER applications 1986-1989...also the 1990 2.3L applications using the smaller gearcase
  • GM 2.5L 181 4cyl (1986 ONLY, but this is the updated style housing)
  • GM 3.0L 181 4cyl (1986-1989)
  • Ford 2.3L 4cyl (1987-1990 -- The 1990 3.0L engines used the larger style gearcase)
• The larger 1986 Cobra V6 / V8 gearcase was visually different and used a few different pieces.
• Possibly found on some outboards if your internal stamping matches.
