General Application / Compatibility
- GM 120hp 2.5L & 140hp 3.0L 4cyl engines 1972-1989ish
- Eventually this gear was superseded (back) to a metal one (45-46745)
- Engines earlier than 1972 had a set of timing gears that had a different gear tooth profile on the camshaft & crankshaft that is not compatible with this one.
- It is always going to be best to just match the stamped part number
