- Found on Many MerCruiser V6 & V8 (4.3L 185, 5.0L 305, 5.7L 350) Engines with 2-Barrel MerCarb Carburetor with 3" throat 1985-1995. (For later models, this is what is called the "Design-I" Flame Arrestor)
- This is NOT compatible with quadrajet Carburetors
- Overall good shape
- Flame Arrester is pretty much universal with most MerCarb 2-Barrel Carburetors, please check your opening to verify size,
- They seemed to come in various Barbron Corp part numbers under the same MerCruiser part number designation but all effectively do the same thing
- Yours should have the same stamped part number.
