Compatibility
- The flame arrestor itself would have been used on Mercruiser 4cyl models 2.5L 120hp & 3.0L 140hp (and possibly 3.7L MerCruiser 470 Engines) - 1983-1995 that have a MerCarb, But NOT Rochester carburetors, but this will not be a good fit for Rochester carburetors as those typically took a flame arrestor that had a 2-5/8" opening whereas this one is a bit bigger.
