The majority of the parts are usable for 1968-1980, but the retainer limits this kit to 1975-1980

- OMC Steering Worm Gear Retainer 908871 / 0908871 was found on 1975-1985 models, if your retainer is still good yet, this is what you should use with your upper housing.
