- Used from 1986-1993 (early non-vortec 4.3L engines 185hp & 205hp) engines that Have a 1-piece rear oil seal, NOT the older style 2-piece rear main oils seal found on some of the early 1985 & 1986 engines
- MerCruiser applications would still need the drain plug.
