- Found on all OMC Stringer Sterndrive Systems 1978-1979 regardless of engine but using the flange-less trim motor (382138)
- I.E. 120hp,140hp,165hp, 170hp 175,190,225,235 & 245 260 305 350 2.5L 3.0L 3.8L V6 4.3L 5.0L 5.7L V8 400 800 etc....
- 1977 & older models used a shaft cover that had only 3 holes rather than the 4 on this one.
- 1980 & newer ones had intermediate housings that used the flange-style trim motor
- White paint on this from a 1979 250 5.8L Ford V8 model.
- Most of the bearing races are still installed in this and may or may not need to be replaced.
