- Above all else, it's always a good idea to match the number stamped on your existing pistons!
- MerCruiser & OMC GM 3.0L 4cyl 140hp 181CID applications roughly 1990-1997 as the crankshaft journal size was changed in 1997 & newer engines even though they used this piston for a while yet. Engines before 1990 traditionally had dished pistons.
