- This is for engines with a 1-piece rear main seal....which they switched over to in 1990 and easily identifiable by the 3" across bolt pattern on the flywheel hub
- Equivalent MerCruiser Part Number 423-810842 / 423-810842T
- GM part # N140966 / 140966 / 140968? as I see in some references...
- Just make sure yours has the same stamped part number of 140966
- Engine turned over by hand freely before being removed (Cracked Block from freezing)
