General Application / Compatibility

• Tilt shaft & worm gear were found on all OMC Stringer applications 1972 & earlier, but would replace a 980183 & 908168 when used together as an assembly. (later worm gears used 2 cotter pins rather than one, so the slots on the gear and pin location on the shaft were different on the later models.)
