MerCruiser 805185A36 Distributor Assembly (NOT COMPATIBLE WITH 1995-1997 MODELS AS IT DOESN'T HAVE MOUNTING SPOT FOR ICM) but strangely what they reference for the new models (1998-late 2000s) as a replacement for all previous versions... The casting number in the housing is 862057
- Replaces 805185A26 90747A3 (Which is pretty much any GM V8 1984-1995 & 1998 & Up using thunderbolt ignition that is not mounted to the distributor
- Sensor Assembly 87-892150Q02
- Cap & Rotor are used but should be okay for a bit yet.
General Application / Compatibility
- Seems like most GM V6 (4.3L) & SBC V8 ( GEN+ 5.0L 305 / 5.7L 350 MAG / MPI / ALPHA / BRAVO / 383 / 385 / 377 / & Others) applications after 1998 using a serpentine belt style pulley
