- Generally used 1987-1998, with MerCruiser 140hp models with the shift components mounted to the cover (like they are pictured here) Hard to mistake this type of valve cover for the other ones without these components on top
- Valve Cover Part Numbers 65635A8 > 65635A16 ( Stamped 65635-C3 or 65635-C2 )
- No shift-interrupt switch on this, you'll have to supply your own....
- In theory this could be used to replace a system with the 96428A1 MerCruiser 120hp / 140hp throttle lever
