MerCruiser 54666 66545 88433 Steering Lever Arm Splined Shaft V8 888 215 898
Item Details
- MerCruiser 54666 / 66545 / 88433 (32603 stamped) Steering Lever Arm for Splined / Splined Shaft (V-Engines)
- FOR V8 Engine Configurations>>> DO NOT BUY FOR INLINE engines as the hole is too small (3/8") on the business end. (INLINE Engines use 32630A1 > 66546A1 > 88771A1 that has the larger hole drilled in the end)
Part Numbers Included
- MerCruiser 66545 Steering Lever 32603 (Stamped) (Splined / Splined)
- One thing to take note of is that There were A LOT of these that were stamped 32603 and basically the difference between all of them is the diameter at which the hole in the end was drilled.
- All of the V8 models and early 4cyl & 6cyl models had a much smaller hole for the steering arm.
- It's probably in your best interest to just check and see what number you have stamped on your lever & go from there...
Compatibility
- Basically, this would have been found on all alpha one models 1978 - early 1980's before they switched over to the Square / Square levers... It's probably in your best interest to just see what number is physically stamped on your steering shaft and look at the diameter of the hole on the end.
- This will work for all engine configurations from that time period... Just a short list below...
- 888 Ford 302 5.0L V8
- 898 GM 305 5.0L V8
- 215 Ford 302 5.0L V8
- 233 Ford 351 5.8L V8
- other v8's from this time period with a splined/splined configuration
