At some point in 1994 all of the MerCruiser 3.0L engines switched to a 14" flywheel which required a different starter and a different inspection cover to accommodate (which was 80550A1)
- This inspection cover is for all models 0D83110 & Below
- The 13929A2 was also used on earlier V8 models with 12-3/4" flywheels and cast couplers, but there is an iteration that is visually different but functionally the same that we have in a different listing.
