General Application / Compatibility
- This would have been found on Ford MerCruiser GM 3.0L / 3.0LX 140hp 4cyl applications 1990-1998ish using a 12-3/4" flywheel with a straight-across bolt mounting pattern and one of these smaller 8" gear reduction starters.
- Eventually, MerCruiser switched to 14" flywheels on these engines which used a completely different starter that had a different mounting bolt pattern.
